Leongatha has a Visitor Information Centre.
If you are passing through Leongatha you should drop in to see just how much South Gippsland has to offer!
The Visitor Information Centre is located in the Memorial Hall complex, Michael Place, Leongatha on the corner opposite the post office.
It was officially opened in late 2008 and since that time travellers and locals have had access to the service seven days a week.
The centre has had visitors from all over the country, with overseas visitors also coming through on occasion. Many parts of Victoria are represented, and the statistics of visitor numbers to the centre have increased dramatically.
Visitor and tourist information is available:
• Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4 pm
• Saturdays and public holidays (except Christmas day and Good Friday) from 10 am to 2 pm and
• Sundays from 11 am to 3 pm.
The centre is auspiced by the South Gippsland Citizens Advice Bureau.
