Railway Clean Up Day
Following the successful Railway Land Cleanup Day held last November, we are carrying out another cleanup day on Saturday 19th September commencing at 8.30am. The day is being oganised by the Leongatha Uniting Church with support from Tourist Rail and the Leongatha Progress Association. This day is the first day of the school holidays. We will provide rubber gloves, garbage bags and bottled water for our helpers.
We are hoping for continued support from Michael’s IGA, The Sweet As Committee and Leongatha RSL and we are hoping that our Service Clubs, other Churches and our Shire will lend a hand to help us in our cleanup.
All recyclable items will be separated for recycling. We look forward to your company at 8.30am on Saturday 19th September even if you can spare only half an hour or so.
