Leongatha U3A Inc
Leongatha U3A started a new course on Friday, 30th May, (1.30 pm) on “Current Affairs”. The new class is held at ECG McMillan, Nerrena Road, Leongatha and runs for 1 ½ to 2 hours initially on the last Friday of each month. All aspects of current affairs will be discussed and debated with the exception of religion and personal politics.
Other classes offered are Scrabble Thursday mornings, History Friday mornings, local history and coffee on the first Wednesday each month and musical appreciation on the third Wednesday of each month.
U3As are learning co-operatives for older people who encourage healthy ageing by enabling members to share in many educational and creative activities. There are courses for everyone and with no educational requirements or assessments.
